Band

Band is available for all students starting in the 5th grade. Middle School band this year includes 5th thru 8th graders. Each year, this group travels to Adventureland in Des Moines, Iowa for a performance. The High School Band is for High School students and may be entered by permission of the instructor. High School Band tours every other year. The band performs at different events throughout the year.

Junior and Senior High Band
Middle School band for grades 5th - 8th 
Academy Band for grades 9th - 12th 
Instruments are available for rent
Private lessons available for grades 7 - 9
Solos and small ensembles perform for chapels or recitals, some contests, and various OCA events
Christmas Concert
Junior High performs at Adventureland every Spring
High School band tours every other year
Auditions for ACSI Honor Band, grades 9 - 12 every other year
Small groups perform in area churches
Students in grades 11 and 12 may audition for Nebraska All-State band or orchestra
Pep Band for Basketball games are for 7th grade through adult

Our High School Band has received many high honors over the years at various competitions.
