Parents may register students in the school office any day Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. Information packets and application forms will be sent to the new students through the mail upon request. (Or you may print one out online!) Registration of a new student is finalized when all application materials have been received and all application procedures are complete. Check-out the tuition and fees page and the registration page for more registration information. Click here to see the 2009/2010 school calendar.
Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Each spring students who are currently enrolled in good standing are offered first consideration for re-enrollment until a specified date. (March 1st) After that date, new applications will be considered. If space is still available new student applications will be processed in the order received.
Selection Process
Application procedures have been completed.
These steps (forms or records) are needed to complete a New Student Application:

The OCA Administrator admits students based on the positive statements, orally and in writing from the student's his/her family, regarding agreement with the school's Statement of Faith, conduct code, and Statement of Cooperation. Secondary students shall submit a Pastor Reference Form and Family Friend Reference Form. If adequate testing is not available from previous schools or professional testing services, a student may be given any tests that the Administrator deems necessary to determine the student's academic needs. The cost of testing is covered in the registration fee. If the student is not accepted as a student of OCA, the registration fee will be refunded except for a $25 testing fee.
OCA has a nondiscriminatory policy regarding student admissions. Each spring currently enrolled students in good standing are offered first considerations for re-enrollment until a specified date. After that date, new applications already received and interviewed will qualify for next considerations. If space is still available, new student applications will be processed in the order received.
In seventh through twelfth grade, a board member may be invited to be present at a student/family interview conducted by the principal. Secondary students enrolling in OCA must view acceptance as desirable, and Christian education as God's will for them. Students whom the interviewer considers rebellious, uncommitted for Christian values, or not desirous of attending OCA will not be accepted. Students who have learning disabilities for which OCA is unprepared to adequately serve may not be accepted.
Married students, students expecting a baby or having children should not be enrolled in OCA, Such situations seem to create awkward and/or difficult relationships within the student body.
Refund Policy:The registration fee is non-refundable. Upon request, refunds of the registration are made only if the family moves outside a commutable distance or if application for student admission is unapproved.
OCA has a nondiscriminatory policy regarding student admissions.
