Greetings! 

Allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Tim Thompson and I’m the newly appointed Executive Director of Omaha Christian Academy.  My family and I have served in Moscow, Russia at Hinkson Christian Academy (a school for missionary kids) for the past 8 years. 

What are life's most precious gifts?  Gold, silver?  No!  Diamonds, emeralds?  No, again.  Life's most precious gifts are much more intangible.  Love, joy, contentment, peace, health – yes to all!  But also, one of life's most precious gifts is a child.  And children are what Omaha Christian Academy is all about.

I, along with my wife Deanna and my son Ethan, are excited to be joining the OCA family.  We’re committed to seeing God work through OCA to impact the Greater Omaha area.  Please pray for us during this transition time and once I’m in the office please stop by to introduce yourself.  I’d love to meet you!

Welcome to OCA!

My name is Gene Bentley and I am privileged to be the Superintendent of OCA for the 2008 school year.  Your children are your biggest blessing and responsibility.  You have made a wise decision in choosing Christian education for your child.  I feel blessed to be a part of that education process.

This could very well be a transition year for us.  The Board is seeking facilities that would meet the needs of our PreK-12 grade enrollment.  Please continue to pray for the Lord’s leading on this important decision.

Our scripture verse for the year is “You are my rock and my fortress: therefore, for your name’s sake, lead me and guide me.”  Psalm 31:3.  With His leading, we will have a great year.
